The Place by the Water offers a number of retreat days, study days and craft workshops open to all. Details can be found on our website events page or by looking at our Facebook Page.

Private Bookings

If you are a church, Christian Charity or Organisation  you may wish to use our rooms to meet, discuss, pray or spend some time in fellowship. Weather permitting there are garden spaces and river walks to enjoy also. Refreshments and meals may be supplied when needed.

Prayer and bible study​

We aim to cover life topics with biblical teaching. Some teaching is in a more traditional bible study format and some covering topics such as 'purpose', 'the power of thought', 'prophecy'and many more. If you have thoughts on any possible themes please get in touch.If it's not in the bible we don't teach it.

Craft and Fun Time

We aim to give people of all ages the opportunity to try various arts, crafts and baking, all in fellowship with others. It may be a Place by the Water event or a booking from a children's church group or home group.  Workshops have included mosaics, decopatch, card making and bread making. we also have seasonal family craft days where a selection of crafts are available to try.
